I am a member of BACP and UKCP and abide by their ethical guidelines and requirements for confidentiality.
Telephone, email and Skype details are held on my personal password-protected computer and smartphone.
I will not disclose or provide your details to a third party without your written permission, except in the rare event of being concerned that a client is a danger to themselves or to others, when I reserve the right to contact their GP.
I keep your records for a period of seven years, in accordance with the requirements of my insurers. When the retaining period has lapsed, all notes are securely destroyed.
